Frank Ramey – Lifelong Advocate for Knoxville

I’ve lived in Knoxville my entire life, attending elementary, middle, and high school here, and I graduated from the University of Tennessee.

This is the city where I met my wife, started my family, and built my career.

I want to work hard to ensure Knoxville regains its affordability while being a great safe, clean place to raise a family and a city where all kids can find opportunities to thrive when they grow up (and as they grow, too).

The 3rd District

Knoxville’s District 3 is a vibrant and diverse area that reflects the heart of the city’s community spirit. Located in the northwest part of Knoxville, the district is home to a mix of residential neighborhoods, local businesses, and scenic parks. Its neighborhoods, such as Norwood, Cumberland Estates, and West Haven, offer a sense of community where families, young professionals, and retirees alike find a place to call home.

District 3 is characterized by its accessibility, with major thoroughfares like Western Avenue and Clinton Highway connecting residents to downtown Knoxville and surrounding areas. The district has good opportunities to grow our educational options.

Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy the district’s green spaces, including Victor Ashe Park, which offers opportunities for walking, biking, and connecting with nature. The district’s central proximity to local businesses and retail centers makes it a hub for shopping, dining, and core to supporting Knoxville’s economy.

Known for its strong sense of community pride, District 3 residents actively engage in making the area clean, safe, and welcoming. As Knoxville continues to grow, District 3 remains a cornerstone of the city’s future, blending tradition with progress to create a thriving community for all.
